We do not generally require students to provide special personal information.
Where such information is voluntarily provided, it will be handled in accordance with POPIA and applicable law.
7. Payment Providers
We use or intend to use PayFast to process online payments.
Information necessary to process transactions may be shared with the payment provider.
Shift Happens does not intend to store complete credit or debit card details.
8. Teachable
Some online courses are delivered through Teachable.
Information required to create and administer a student’s account may be processed by Teachable.
9. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel
Our website uses:
- Google Analytics for website analytics; and
- Meta Pixel for website interaction and marketing measurement.

Where electronic direct marketing is sent, Shift Happens will comply with applicable POPIA requirements and provide an appropriate means of opting out.
Transactional communications may still be sent where necessary to administer an existing relationship.

Shift Happens primarily provides educational services to adults.
Where children’s information is processed, appropriate measures will be taken to comply with POPIA.
18. Photographs and Recordings
Where identifiable individuals are used in promotional photographs or recordings, appropriate consent will be obtained where required.
