Developed by Andrew Verity and based in Australia, Neuro-training integrates many natural therapies, techniques and principles from both Eastern and Western philosophies in a solution-oriented process where you are able to direct your own response through the natural laws that govern the nervous system. Other workshops that fall under the Neuro-training umbrella for first-year and second-year learners are: Principles of Recuperation, Blueprint Series, Innate Intelligence and Integration
The Art of Solution Orientated Neuro-Training (ASONT):
This is the first workshop taught in the Neuro-Training program. It is set to teach the budding practitioner clear and precise information on how and why our neurology responds the way it does. It encompasses a comprehensive understanding of the tools and principles used in kinesiology and is a workshop that even more advanced practitioners would benefit from.
Contents include:
- What Kinesiology is and what it is not – how Neuro-Training differs from other forms of Kinesiology
- Content vs Context
- Our habitual defence patterns and how we use them to avoid the real issues
- Adaptation – are we adapting appropriately in the present to past events
- Suppression – what it is, and what to do about it
- Solution Orientation, rather than problem solving.
- The Motivational barometer – an emotional tool to help find what motivates us (or not) to be and have what it is that we are wanting.
